Arkansas scholarship lottery is designed to create winning people and winning futures. This statewide system of games of chance, implemented in 2008, was the result of an amendment to the state constitution as a means to generate revenue and fund scholarships for qualified high school graduates to attend college in Arkansas post-secondary institutions. More than 720,000 college scholarships have been awarded to Arkansans through the lottery system so far.
